The original 1960's workshop facilities were spread throughout the ground floor in 5 seperate workshop facilities and a remote stores facility. Over several decades each workshop had been altered to suit various changes in working practices however the Electrical and Mechanical Services and the majority of layouts were much as the original provision.

The workshop space was rewired, speicalist extraction was introduced for both dust and fumes. A new heating system was installed along with a tempered return air supply, and a new BMS system was installed.
